Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has called a meeting on Tuesday with the top political and military leadership. The meeting would discuss affairs related to internal and national security. Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief ministers of all provinces, , Chief of General Staff Lt. General Ashfaq Nadeem and DG ISI Lt. General Zaheer-ul-Islam and federal cabinet members will attend the meeting.
Besides internal and border security situation, the negotiation process with TTP will also be included in the discussion. According to sources, federal interior minister and DG ISI will brief and take into confidence the political and military leadership over issues concerning the country’s internal security and issues related with National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and Quick Response Force (QRF)
