Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressing Pakistani community in New York, has said that the efforts are underway to attract foreign investments in Pakistan.
He said that the World Bank has assured cooperation in scores of development projects in Pakistan.
Sharif, who has been in New York to attend the annual session of United Nations General Assembly, said that all political parties were united for upholding democracy in the country and for the supremacy of the Constitution.
Nawaz said that those staging sit-ins against his government have failed and want to return back to homes.
The premier earlier met United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and other important international figures during his visit to the United States.
