ISLAMABAD: The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports urged citizens to use the Pakistan Passport Helpline and the Citizen Portal for assistance, feedback and complaints.
Applicants can call the official UAN at 051-111-344-777 for guidance on passport services, the department said.
Citizens can also submit complaints through the Pakistan Citizen Portal. The platform allows applicants to report delays and other service issues.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports operates under the federal Ministry of Interior. It said public feedback helps improve the speed and quality of passport services.
The department also reaffirmed its commitment to secure and clear services for Pakistanis at home and abroad.

Pakistan is separately moving towards a fully linked e-passport system. Director General of Passports Muhammad Abdul Khaliq said the country plans to phase out machine-readable passports.
The new system will support online applications, digital fee payments and home delivery, according to the department.
Pakistan issued its first e-passport in 2022. Officials upgraded the system in 2025 to meet global standards and support international e-gates. The new passports use laser engraving and digital security certificates to reduce the risk of forgery.
