ISLAMABAD: The CSS 2026 results were announced by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on Monday, with 476 candidates passing the written examination.
According to an FPSC statement, the written test recorded a 2.74 per cent pass rate among candidates who appeared for the examination.
A total of 24,321 candidates had applied for the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination, while 17,351 appeared in the written test. Of those who appeared, 16,342 candidates participated in all papers, according to the commission.
The 476 successful candidates comprise 239 men and 237 women. The CSS 2026 written examinations were held from February 4 to February 15.

Successful candidates will now move to the next stages of the competitive examination process, including a medical examination, psychological assessment and viva voce.
The FPSC said candidates who cleared the written stage would be informed separately about the schedule and requirements for the subsequent phases.
The final allocation of candidates to occupational groups and services will follow completion of the remaining stages of the CSS examination process.
