The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has rejected claims that CSS-2026 answer sheets went missing. The commission called the allegations circulating on social media baseless and factually incorrect.
In a statement, the commission said claims of incomplete Secrecy Wing and Exam Cell records formed part of a “concocted narrative.” This narrative is aimed at undermining confidence in the CSS examination system.
FPSC said the receipt, counting, safe custody and issuance of answer sheets follow a multi-tiered chain-of-custody system. This process is overseen by its Secrecy Wing and Exam Cell.
According to the commission, answer sheets received from each examination centre are recorded and cross-checked under designated officers. It said no discrepancy, complaint or irregularity was on record.
The commission also rejected claims that coaching academies or other third parties could influence examination seating arrangements.

FPSC said examination centres, roll-number plans and seating arrangements are generated through an automated process. Accordingly, it said this prevents manual interference.
The commission advised candidates and the public to rely on information issued through its official channels. Therefore, it recommended trusting these instead of unverified social media campaigns.
FPSC also said it reserved the right to pursue appropriate legal action against those responsible for spreading what it described as baseless propaganda.
