Islamabad: Terrorists killed Pakistan operations reached 15 after security forces carried out separate actions in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officials said this number increased.
The military’s media wing said eight terrorists were killed in intelligence-driven operations in Kharan and Mastung districts on June 25 and 26.
ISPR said security forces tracked the movement of a terrorist group in Kharan on June 25 and killed three members of Fitna al Hindustan. The military’s media wing said troops launched a pre-emptive operation in Mastung on June 26 over the possible presence of a suicide bomber.
Five terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were killed in Mastung after an exchange of fire, according to ISPR.
Security forces also recovered weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices and motorbikes from the Mastung site. Meanwhile, security sources said seven terrorists were killed in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.
They said forces targeted a suspected vehicle in the Ghora Baka Khel area of the Baka Khel tehsil. This action happened after receiving intelligence about a terrorist movement.
