QUETTA, Balochistan: Security forces killed three more militants in Operation Shaban, raising the toll to 88, security sources said Wednesday.
The Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and Balochistan Police are jointly conducting the operation across the province. Security sources said forces used aerial and ground actions to strike militant hideouts.
They said 126 militants had died in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations in Balochistan since July 5. The operation began after militants attacked the Mangi Dam police station in Ziarat.
