Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman will miss the remainder of PSL 11 after the Bangladesh Cricket Board withdrew his No-Objection Certificate on medical grounds.
Mustafizur, who represented Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League, will now undergo medical assessment and rehabilitation under the supervision of the BCB medical team.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board said its medical staff reviewed Mustafizur’s condition after the third ODI against New Zealand and decided that he required an immediate scan.
“The player will undergo an immediate scan to assess his condition, after which he will commence a rehabilitation programme,” the BCB said in a statement.
As a result, the board withdrew the NOC it had previously issued to the left-arm pacer, making him unavailable for the rest of PSL 11.
Mustafizur had earlier missed the first two matches of Bangladesh’s three-match ODI series against New Zealand because of injury. He returned for the deciding match and delivered an impressive performance, taking five wickets.
The BCB had initially cleared him to play in the PSL during two separate windows, from March 26 to April 12 and again from April 24 to May 3. However, the latest medical review has now ended his participation.

The board also confirmed that fast bowler Nahid Rana will not receive clearance for PSL 2026. Officials said the decision will give the young pacer enough time to prepare before Bangladesh’s upcoming Test series against Pakistan.
Mustafizur’s absence is a setback for Lahore Qalandars, who must continue their PSL 11 campaign without one of their key overseas bowling options.
