The latest forensic breakthrough in the Mustafa Amir murder case has unveiled critical details. A medical report, released after the exhumation of his body, found no traces of intoxicants or sedatives in his system before his death.
The Industrial Analytical Center at Karachi University analyzed 11 samples from Mustafa’s remains. Advanced tools like gas chromatography and mass spectrometry ensured precision.
The report’s credibility is backed by signatures from the principal investigator, assistant investigator, technical manager, and two research officers. Samples, including charred and decomposed tissue from the tongue, palate, and neck, were meticulously examined. This revelation shifts the focus of the ongoing investigation into Mustafa Amir’s tragic murder.

The forensic team has preserved some evidence under controlled lab conditions for further study. Per the report, the remaining samples will be discarded after 30 days. Meanwhile, the investigation has zeroed in on Armaghan, the prime suspect.
Authorities uncovered his ties to four companies, two registered in Pakistan and two in the United States, linked to business dealings and digital currency accounts. Laptops and other items seized from his residence are now under forensic review.
