A girl barely out of her teen was found hanging from a tree in Layyah, Punjab earlier today.
Taking notice of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif asked for a report from DPO Layyah and ordered the police to take strict action against those responsible for this act.
The 20-year-old woman was kidnapped on June 19 and later found murdered today.
The father of the victim had informed the police that his daughter had been kidnapped but the police did not take any action to recover the abducted girl.
Residents of the area found the body of the victim hanging from a tree just a few yards away from a security check post and informed the police about it but despite receiving information about the incident, the police have not reached the site as of yet.
The victim’s body is still hanging from the tree and has not been taken down as yet.
