Pakistan will facilitate the repatriation of 30 Iranian nationals expected to transit through Karachi in the coming days, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said.
Dar said on X that the group includes eight Iranian fishermen rescued at sea by the British vessel MMA Valour after their boat ran aground.
He said 22 other Iranian crew members were from the vessel Lenore/Davina, recently interdicted by US authorities.
Pakistan is coordinating with Iranian, US and UK authorities for the safe transit and early return of the nationals to Iran, Dar said.
The deputy prime minister said Pakistan remained committed to humanitarian cooperation and would continue to extend assistance in similar cases.
Islamabad had earlier facilitated the repatriation of more than a dozen Iranian sailors from vessels seized on the high seas by the United States last month.
