Reality television personality and cosmetics entrepreneur Kylie Jenner’s net worth is estimated at USD 670 million, years after Forbes withdrew its earlier designation of her as the youngest self-made billionaire.
Jenner built much of her fortune through Kylie Cosmetics after first gaining fame on E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which ran from 2007 to 2021, before the family moved to Hulu with “The Kardashians” in 2022.
Her beauty business began with the Kylie Lip Kit in 2015, launched with financial backing from her modelling income and developed in partnership with Seed Beauty. The first 15,000 kits cost about USD 250,000 to produce and sold out rapidly.
The business was renamed Kylie Cosmetics in 2016 and later expanded through collaborations and retail agreements.
Jenner sold a 51% stake in Kylie Cosmetics to Coty Inc. for USD 600 million and retained a 44% interest, receiving about USD 540 million before tax from the transaction.
Forbes named Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire in March 2019 but withdrew the designation in May 2020 after challenging previously reported figures for the size and profitability of her company.
Jenner rejected accusations that she had deliberately misrepresented her wealth, writing on X that she had never asked for the title or tried to obtain it dishonestly.
