Iran-Israel missiles triggered air alerts across several Israeli areas on Monday as Tehran launched fresh ballistic missile waves toward Israel, according to live reports.
A fifth wave of Iranian ballistic missiles was heading toward Israel, with multiple launches detected and air-defence systems on high alert.
Air raid sirens sounded in areas including Jerusalem, Beersheba and near Ben Gurion International Airport. Israeli defence systems were activated to intercept incoming projectiles.
Iran has launched missiles towards Israel after warning it to halt its assault on southern Lebanon. Israel says it intercepted all of them, while Iran’s Guards say they targeted Ramat David airbase over attacks on Tyre and Nabatieh.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it targeted key facilities at Nevatim Airbase and Tel Nof Airbase. The IRGC said the strikes came after Israeli attacks on Iranian radar sites.
The Guardian reported that Israel struck targets in western and central Iran after Trump urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to retaliate.
The Israeli army said it intercepted missiles launched from Iran on Monday in response to attacks from Israel.

The exchange marked the first direct Israel-Iran confrontation since the April ceasefire.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the renewed clash followed Israeli strikes on Beirut and Iranian missile fire at Israel. It said no major Israeli casualties had been confirmed.
Trump said the two sides were close to a deal to end the wider conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
