Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed on Wednesday that Gullu Butt is not a worker of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and the party has no connection with him.
Talking to media outside the parliament house here the law minister said that the government did not direct the police to launch operation against Minhaj Trust.
“Police only went there to lift barriers”, he told media.
Earlier, Gullu Butt- the man responsible for vandalizing cars outside Minhaj-ul-Quran office was finally arrested on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s orders.
