Take-Two Interactive has escalated its investigation into the GTA 6 leaks by filing DMCA subpoenas. The company is seeking information to identify the person or people behind the CyberLeek persona linked to recent gameplay leaks.
The subpoenas were filed in the Southern District of New York on August 20 and target Microsoft and Discord. They are requesting account and device information connected to suspected leak activity.
Take-Two is seeking details including names, IP addresses, phone numbers, device identifiers, linked Google and Xbox accounts and OneDrive data. The requests cover accounts that communicated in three Discord servers between June 1, 2026, and the present. Furthermore, the deadline for responses is September 4.
One subpoena specifically requests Microsoft’s MachineGuid identifier. This is a Windows-generated value that can remain stable across hardware changes unless the operating system drive is replaced.
The filings name the Ødyssey.gg, “! Odyssey,” and DarkViperAU Discord servers. Take-Two described Ødyssey.gg as a cheat community and referred to it as the alleged operator’s “home.”
The company also sent a copyright takedown notice to GitHub on August 19. This notice targeted the repository zyrexdz/cyberleek-leak-research and requested that the material be disabled.
Australian content creator Matthew “DarkViperAU” Judge said on X that he had no knowledge of the alleged leaks.
