Sony has featured GTA 6 in a new PS5 promo, combining footage from Rockstar Games’ previous trailers with new audio and a live-action sequence inspired by Vice City.
The “It Happens on PS5” video includes actors racing jet skis along a beach before showing familiar scenes featuring protagonists Jason and Lucia. The PlayStation Blog also highlighted “Grand Theft Auto 6” among major upcoming PS5 releases.
At about 23 seconds, the video shows Jason jumping into a getaway car driven by Lucia. The sequence originally appeared in Rockstar’s second GTA 6 trailer.
Another reused scene appears around the 44-second mark, showing Jason riding a motorcycle while a seaplane flies overhead. The footage appears on a billboard designed to resemble advertising on a building in Warsaw, Poland.
Near the end of the promo, Jason closes a car trunk while Lucia stands beside him. Although the visual comes from Rockstar’s second trailer, the PlayStation version adds a new sound effect.

Sony launched its earlier “Plays Best on PS5” campaign when GTA 6 pre-orders opened in late June. Promotion of the game then became less prominent across some PlayStation social channels.
Fans expecting additional gameplay footage may have to wait until a planned Extended Look on August 27. It also notes speculation about a possible PS5 or PS5 Pro bundle, though Sony has not confirmed such hardware packages.
