PARIS, France: President Emmanuel Macron will host Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for a two-day official visit beginning Sunday, the Élysée Palace said.
The Saudi crown prince’s visit will include the first meeting of the Franco-Saudi Strategic Partnership Council, according to the French presidency.
The two leaders will discuss major economic and strategic issues affecting relations between France and Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, they will exchange views on regional developments in the Near and Middle East. The Élysée said closer coordination with Gulf partners was important for promoting stability and peace.
The visit follows Macron’s trip to Saudi Arabia in December 2024 and reflects what the French presidency described as strong bilateral dialogue.
