Dylan Carter, a singer who appeared on “The Voice” season 24, died at 24 after a car crash in Colleton County, South Carolina, authorities said.
The Colleton County coroner ruled the death accidental, citing blunt force injuries sustained in the collision, according to official findings.
TMZ reported that Carter was alone in a 2026 Tesla sedan shortly after 11pm when the vehicle veered off the road, struck a pole and a fence, and rolled. He was wearing a seatbelt and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Carter gained recognition in 2023 at age 20 with his audition on “The Voice,” performing Whitney Houston’s “I Look to You,” which he dedicated to his late mother.
