Karachi, Sindh: Dr Mahnoor Nasir underwent minor skin grafting in Karachi after sustaining facial injuries in an acid attack in Quetta, hospital sources said.
Hospital officials said plastic surgeons carried out minor grafting procedures on her face. They said doctors had not performed any major surgery so far, and none was currently planned.
Sources said routine minor procedures would continue as part of her treatment. They said Dr Nasir underwent a third detailed medical evaluation a day earlier.
A multidisciplinary team, including plastic surgeons and ophthalmologists, is managing her treatment, according to hospital sources. Doctors confirmed injuries to her face, including the outer areas of her eyes, lips and nose.

Dr Nasir, a postgraduate trainee in general surgery at Sandeman Provincial Hospital in Quetta, was receiving treatment at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi after the attack. She was shifted to Karachi by air ambulance after suffering injuries at Sandeman Provincial Hospital. Hospital sources said at the time that she was in stable condition.
Hospital sources said her family was satisfied with the medical care. Authorities in Balochistan and Sindh remained in contact with the patient and her family over treatment and legal proceedings.
