The Ronaldo TV drama “Day 1s” has begun filming in London, with Portugal football star Cristiano Ronaldo set to appear and executive produce, The Sun reported Sunday.
The series will follow fictional football agent Stanley Dalton, played by “Homeland” and “Billions” actor Damian Lewis. Production has started at Barnet FC’s Hive Stadium in northwest London.
Football agent Darren Dein developed the concept and will serve as an executive producer. Dein represents former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry, who is also expected to appear in the series.
British rapper Dave and actor Carlotta Banat have joined the project, according to The Sun. The producers have not announced their roles.
“Day 1s” marks Ronaldo’s first reported acting credit in a scripted television production. He previously appeared in advertisements and video games.
UR•Marv Studios, the independent production company Ronaldo launched with “Kingsman” director Matthew Vaughn in April 2025, is producing the series.
Ronaldo and Vaughn had already completed two action films when they announced their partnership. A third film was in development, according to ESPN.
No broadcaster, streaming platform or release date has been confirmed for “Day 1s.” Ronaldo continues to play for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.
