ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched a digital Proof of Life system on Thursday, allowing pensioners to complete required verification from home through facial recognition.
The facility will serve civilian and military pensioners, including senior citizens, women and persons with disabilities.
Shehbaz said the system would remove the need for repeated bank visits, particularly for elderly, frail and disabled pensioners.
The verification can be completed through a digital application using facial recognition, according to the prime minister.
