Faizullah Khan earlier today returned to Pakistan after he was released from an Afghanistan jail.
Faizullah Khan, a Karachi based reporter associated with ARY News channel, was convicted by a Jalalabad court in Afghanistan to serve a four year jail for illegal entry in the country.
The orders of release of Faizullah Khan were issued by the Nangarhar High Court in the eastern province of Afghanistan on Sunday.
On his arrival in Pakistan, Faizullah Khan was greeted by CEO ARY Network Salman Iqbal and representatives of journalist bodies.
Faizullah thanked ARY CEO and its management, journalistic bodies and all those who prayed for his early release from Afghan detention. He also thanked Almighty Allah for his release.
