SHANGHAI: Trinasolar’s 200MW deal with Shwe Wah Yaung Agriculture Production Company Limited will expand the distribution of high-efficiency solar modules in Myanmar over three years.
The memorandum of understanding covers Trinasolar’s Vertex N G3 and Vertex S+ G3 solar modules.
The agreement was signed at the Myanmar-China Investment and Trade Networking Summit in Shanghai on June 18, 2026.
SWY is a Myanmar rice producer and wholesale distributor of complete solar energy systems, including photovoltaic modules.
The companies will target Myanmar’s residential, commercial and industrial solar markets under the agreement.

Trinasolar said its Vertex N G3 modules serve commercial, industrial and utility-scale projects, with outputs of up to 760W and module efficiencies of 24.5%.
The company said Vertex S+ G3 modules use n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology in a compact dual-glass design for residential and commercial rooftops.
SWY Managing Director Lu Maw Myint Maung said solar demand in Myanmar was growing across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
Dave Wang, Trinasolar subregion head for Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, said the partnership would support the adoption of the company’s latest-generation solar technologies in Myanmar.
