KARACHI: Karachi doctors’ protest at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital entered its fifth day on Friday, disrupting outpatient departments and wards.
The doctors’ protest caused a severe shortage of doctors in OPDs and hospital wards, affecting patient care at the Karachi, Sindh, facility.
Protesting doctors said they had not received stipends for two months. They said more than 180 house officers were working at the hospital and currently received Rs45,000 per month.
