British singer Charli XCX has released the “Music, Fashion, Film” album through Atlantic Records. The 11-track project is her seventh studio album and first full-length follow-up to 2024’s “Brat.”
The record includes the previously released singles “Rock Music,” “SS26,” “Wink Wink”, and “Camera.” Its closing track, “No One Lasts Forever,” features a monologue by filmmaker David Cronenberg.
In an interview with Rolling Stone ahead of the release, Charli said she deliberately moved away from the approach that made “Brat” a major success. She said her albums “work in opposites” and that repeating the same record would not satisfy her creatively.
The cover features musician John Cale, fashion designer Marc Jacobs and director Martin Scorsese together in a kitchen. Each represents one part of the album’s title.
Cale said Charli approached him with a spontaneous concept involving a video and an “imprint of time and place.” He said he would be on a flight soon to take part in the shoot.

The album follows a busy 18 months for Charli. She released a soundtrack album for “Wuthering Heights” and starred in the mockumentary “The Moment,” which included a fictionalised cameo by Kylie Jenner.
“Music, Fashion, Film” is Charli’s fourth full-length release of any kind in just over two years.
