The U.S. August 2026 Visa Bulletin advanced final action dates across all five family-sponsored categories for most countries, led by an 18-month-plus jump in F2A.
For applicants chargeable to most countries, China, India and the Philippines, the F2A date moved from January 1, 2025, to July 22, 2026. Mexico’s F2A date advanced from January 1, 2024, to July 22, 2025.
In the general worldwide column, F1 advanced to December 15, 2018, while F2B moved to January 1, 2018. F3 advanced one month to May 15, 2012, and F4 moved eight months to September 1, 2009.
Employment-based movement remained narrower. EB-1 China advanced to July 1, 2023, while EB-3 for the general worldwide category moved one month to September 1, 2024. EB-3 China advanced to January 1, 2022, and EB-4 moved to October 15, 2022.
EB-2 India remained unavailable, as did India’s EB-5 unreserved category. All EB-5 set-aside categories covering rural, high-unemployment and infrastructure investments remained current worldwide.

Applicants chargeable to Pakistan generally use the “All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed” column because Pakistan does not have a separate column in the bulletin, subject to individual chargeability rules.
As of July 22, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services had not announced which August chart adjustment-of-status applicants would be eligible to use. Its filing chart page still showed the next month’s selection as “coming soon.”
The State Department warned that EB-1 India could become unavailable before the end of the fiscal year. It also said increased EB-2 demand could require retrogression or make the category unavailable in the coming months
