Pakistan’s Special Investment Facilitation Council facilitated approval of the 435-kilometre White Oil Pipeline linking Machike, Thallian and Tarru Jabba under the SIFC platform.
The Machike-Thallian-Tarru Jabba pipeline aims to strengthen Pakistan’s energy security by improving fuel transportation efficiency. Additionally, it supports a south-to-north fuel supply corridor.
SIFC kept the project on its priority agenda and helped coordinate among relevant stakeholders to address approval-related challenges. A Memorandum of Understanding for the project was signed under SIFC’s platform.
The pipeline will transport white oil across Pakistan and reduce reliance on road-based fuel movement. The project is expected to lower logistics costs, cut fuel losses and improve supply-chain reliability.
Officials linked the project to broader efforts to modernize Pakistan’s energy infrastructure and attract large-scale strategic investment. The project is also expected to support job creation during development and implementation.
