The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment has urged Pakistanis to apply for UNICEF jobs in Pakistan through the United Nations Children’s Fund’s official careers portal.
The bureau said applicants should create a Talent Profile on the UNICEF Careers Portal and apply only through verified listings on the Jobs Unicef Org domain.
According to the bureau, UNICEF offers opportunities in child protection, education, nutrition, emergency response, information technology, supply chain and logistics.
The guidance said Pakistani applicants can target three recruitment tracks: National Officer roles for Pakistani nationals, General Service roles for local administrative support and International Professional roles for global assignments.

The bureau said UNICEF contracts may include temporary appointments, consultancies and fixed-term roles ranging from one to two years, depending on the vacancy and project needs.
Shortlisted candidates usually face a technical written assessment followed by a competency-based interview, according to the guidance. Applicants were advised to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action and Result) in their interview responses.
The bureau said UNICEF evaluates candidates against core values including care, respect, integrity, trust, accountability and sustainability.
For early-career candidates, the bureau identified the United Nations Volunteers programme as an entry route. It said National UN Volunteer Specialist roles in Pakistan may offer a monthly living allowance of about PKR 131,371.
