Tremors were felt in Swat, Shangla and other parts of the Malakand Division as well as surrounding cities today afternoon.
The intensity of the quake is not yet known.
Tremors were also felt in the wee hours on Thursday. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) the earlier tremors registered a 5.4 on the Richter scale and epicentre was located 202 kilometers NE of Kabul, Afghanistan at a depth of 107.1 kilometers.
