Authorities on Wednesday lifted curfew in Mir Ali and Razmak tehsils North Waziristan after six days, allowing residents of the restive tribal area to leave their homes for safer places.
Local administration had imposed curfew due to military’s anti-Taliban operation Zarb-e-Azb which was launched on Sunday.
The political administration has granted three days to people of Mir Ali and Razmak tehsils to evacuate the areas where hospitals and schools are closed.
The military action in North Waziristan has resulted in displacement of a large number of civilians from the tribal area, seeking shelter in adjoining districts.
