The federal government will issue a Rs75 commemorative coin from May 25 to mark the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations, the State Bank of Pakistan said Thursday.
The coin will be available through exchange counters at field offices of the SBP Banking Services Corporation, according to the central bank. Pakistan and China formally established diplomatic relations on May 21, 1951.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said the round copper-nickel coin has serrated edges. It contains 75% copper and 25% nickel, with a diameter of 36mm and a weight of 19 grams.
The obverse side features a waxing crescent moon and a five-pointed star facing north-west. It also carries “Islami Jamhuria Pakistan” in Urdu, the year 2026, two wheat sprigs and the Rs75 denomination.
The reverse side carries the words “75th Anniversary of Pakistan and China Diplomatic Relations” and “Trust Friendship Support” in English. It also displays the national flags of Pakistan and China.

The reverse design includes the numeral “75,” flanked by the years 1951 and 2026. Urdu and Chinese inscriptions highlight 75 years of diplomatic ties and the themes of trust, friendship and cooperation.
