Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique said Punjab government is formulating strict laws aimed at monitoring blood banks in the province.
He said this while presiding over a meeting of Punjab Blood Transfusion Authority (PBTA) at Institute of Blood Transfusion here on Monday.
It was also decided that once again all the blood banks would be intimated regarding the registration with Punjab Blood Transfusion Authority (PBTA) through advertisements in the newspapers and the blood banks which would not contact with the authority for registration within three months would be sealed immediately.
