Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is due to hold its rally against “electoral mismanagement and alleged rigging” today in Bhawalpur.
PTI workers have been preparing for the rally with full swing. The workers also prepared a 200 yard long flag.
Party workers also led small rallies across the city along with holding various corner meetings. Local leaders vowed to make this jalsa a success.
It is pertinent to note that the Prime Minister is visiting IDP camps in Bannu and had invited Imran to do the same so that joint efforts can be made to alleviate their suffering. But he had refused since he would be busy holding a rally against the government.
Earlier Imran Khan had said that the army operation in N. Waziristan should be delayed till September so that the IDPs (Internally displaced persons) can get some relief since their wellbeing is of paramount importance to the PTI government in KPK.
