PHILADELPHIA: Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes as the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 at Lincoln Financial Field on Monday, extending the hosts’ losing streak to five games.
Javonte Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown, helping Dallas improve to 3-4. Philadelphia fell to 2-5, its longest losing run since 2016. Dallas remained behind the New York Giants, who lead the NFC East at 4-2-1.
Prescott finished with 212 passing yards and connected twice with CeeDee Lamb for touchdowns. His second touchdown pass to Lamb restored Dallas’ lead after Philadelphia briefly took the lead in the third quarter.
Trailing 21-20, Prescott found Lamb for a 16-yard touchdown before running in the two-point conversion. That put the Cowboys ahead 28-21.
Brandon Aubrey subsequently extended the advantage with a 24-yard field goal. Williams completed the scoring with a two-yard touchdown run. Dallas finished with 204 rushing yards. Williams became the first Cowboys player since Ezekiel Elliott in 2018 to reach 150 rushing yards.
Meanwhile, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown intercepted Tanner McKee late in the fourth quarter, ending Philadelphia’s comeback hopes. McKee completed 23 of 35 passes for 211 yards, one touchdown and one interception while replacing the sidelined Jalen Hurts.
His four-yard touchdown pass to rookie Makai Lemon capped a nearly 10-minute drive and gave Philadelphia a third-quarter lead. However, the Eagles did not score again.
Earlier, Dallas opened with a field goal before Saquon Barkley answered with an eight-yard touchdown run. Barkley returned after missing more than two games with a hamstring injury. He finished with 62 rushing yards on seven carries and received in-game treatment.

Prescott’s first-half touchdown passes went to Lamb from nine yards and George Pickens from 21 yards. Those scores helped Dallas establish a 20-14 half-time lead.
Philadelphia played without Hurts, whose team and agent have confirmed blood clots in his calf and lungs. He cannot participate in contact activities while receiving blood-thinning treatment.
The defeat also came on the night Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie entered the franchise’s Hall of Fame. Dallas hosts the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday, while Philadelphia visits the Washington Commanders.
