Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today, expressed its support for the military offensive ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ launched in North Waziristan by Pakistan’s armed forces to eliminate terrorist elements, reported a private news channel.
PTI held a core committee meeting to deliberate upon the issue at 2pm Monday and according to sources, agreed upon lending support to the operation.
The meeting was attended by ministers and advisors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
The party also agreed upon providing the internally displaced persons (IDPs) with adequate facilities to evacuate from the area.
