ISLAMABAD: Passport home delivery service has formally started in Pakistan after the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports signed a delivery agreement with TCS, ARY News reported.
Citizens can now choose doorstep delivery while submitting passport applications instead of returning to passport offices for collection.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports launched the service in partnership with a private courier company.
Director General of Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa and TCS Chief Executive Officer Hassan Raza Leghari announced the project at DGIP headquarters in Islamabad.

Officials said the service aims to make passport distribution faster, secure and hassle-free.
The home delivery option will help applicants avoid long queues and repeated visits to passport offices.
Officials said the initiative is part of public-service reforms, in line with the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
