The Pakistan car sales data for FY 2025–26 show a strong recovery in the country’s automobile sector. According to figures released by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association, consumers purchased 97,900 cars during the first eight months of the fiscal year.

This represents a significant increase compared with 67,267 vehicles sold during the same period last year. The growth reflects rising consumer demand and improving activity in Pakistan’s automobile market.

Industry data also shows that car sales increased by 45.53 per cent, while vehicle production rose by 52.31 per cent during the same period. Production reached 104,652 units, up from 68,708 a year earlier.

Several major manufacturers reported strong sales growth during the period. Honda recorded a 49.91 per cent increase in sales, with 15,389 vehicles sold compared with 10,265 units in the previous fiscal year.

Similarly, combined sales of Toyota Corolla and Toyota Yaris rose 75.70 per cent to 23,900 vehicles, up from 13,602 units in the earlier fiscal period.

The Suzuki Swift also experienced strong demand. Sales nearly doubled, rising 99.33 per cent to 10,555 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai Elantra recorded 1,743 units sold, compared with 965 vehicles during the same months last year.

Small vehicles remain highly popular among Pakistani buyers. The Suzuki Alto continued to dominate the market as the best-selling car. Sales reached 36,694 units, up from 28,194 during the same period last year.

The Suzuki Cultus also showed steady growth, with 3,423 units sold, up from 1,887 vehicles previously. Another strong performer was the Suzuki Every, which recorded a 250.03 per cent increase in sales, reaching 5,520 units, up from 1,577 last year.
