National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued arrest warrants for Kamran Kayani, brother of former army chief Gen (Retd) Ashfaq Pervez Kayani.
Kamran, who has failed to respond to repeated summons for questioning, in an investigations into a multi-billion-rupee scam in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
The warrants are part of the process to secure perpetual arrest warrants which eventually lead to red notices from Interpol.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) also issued warrants for the management of Elysium Holdings Pakistan Limited for illegally selling allotment certificates of the DHA Islamabad and other housing projects.
According to the document, Waseem Aslam Butt, a former CEO of Elysium Holdings told officials that Kamran was the actual owner of the company. He further claimed that Elysium Holdings Pakistan Ltd is a subsidiary of Elysium Holdings Middle East which is registered in JAFZA, Dubai.
