Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik claimed that the first Russian crude oil shipment from Moscow will likely arrive in the first week of April.
In an interview with a private news channel, he blamed the previous administration’s “bad policies” for the country’s skyrocketing inflation. He hoped that the advent of Russian oil would alleviate consumers’ price increases.
In response to a query regarding Imran Khan, he asserted that the PTI leader had a “feudal mentality” and believed he was immune from observing the law and the Constitution.
Malik stated that the arrest warrants for the PTI leader were unrelated to the coalition government.
He asserted that decent politicians courageously defend themselves in court and do not fear arrest.
He added that although the PTI leader had wrongly filed cases against his political opponents when in power, the PML-N opposed political victimization.
He added, “He imprisoned his political rival, but now he feared facing the courts. Imran openly criticized the constitutional bodies and wanted them to operate at his discretion.
