Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said that a new spell of monsoon is likely to start in next 24 hours.
The PMD forecasts rain/thundershower in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Kashmir, parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Mirpurkhas Division, Karachi Division and Hyderabad Division during the monsoon spell which is likely to continue till Friday.
Moderate monsoon currents from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are penetrating into upper parts of the country, the PMD said.
