Inter Miami snapped a three-game losing streak, including a 5-1 aggregate loss to Vancouver Whitecaps in the Champions Cup semi-finals. Picault scored in the ninth minute, blasting a flicked cross from Suarez. Weigandt doubled the lead in the 30th minute with a VAR-confirmed header, and Suarez added a third in the 39th minute after a blocked shot. The Red Bulls responded with an Omar Valencia header before halftime, but Messi sealed the win in the 67th minute, combining with Telasco Segovia to outmanoeuvre Noah Eile and score.

Elsewhere, Columbus Crew’s Dylan Chambost scored his first MLS goal in a 4-2 win over Charlotte, maintaining their Eastern Conference lead with 24 points. Philadelphia Union’s Mikael Uhre netted an 84th-minute winner in a 2-1 victory at Montreal, while D.C. United defeated Colorado Rapids 2-1, with Christian Benteke and Hosei Kijima scoring.
