A major terror plot by a militant group with links to extremist elements in Syria and Yemen was discovered by Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry.
Saudi media reported that 62 suspected members of the militant group were arrested with a majority of them Saudis.
The statement further said authorities were pursing 44 more alleged members of the militant group which had planned to carry out “wide-scale assassinations” and targeting “government and foreign interests.”
