A landlord from Wazirabad village Saroki, tortured a boy and then extracted his one eye over an attempt to pluck an orange from orchard.
DIG Punjab has taken notice of the incident and directed the immediate arrest of those responsible for the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, Khizr 10, stepped into Chaudhry Ikram’s orchard. Khizr picked an orange from the tree and owner and his associates captured and brutally manhandled him. An eye of the child was wasted in the torture.
Khizr was taken to a hospital in Ahmed Nagar, where doctors confirmed that his eye has gone. The doctor referred the wounded minor to District Headquarters Hospital.
Inspector General Punjab has taken notice of the barbarian act and directed Ahmed Nagar police to expeditiously arrest the influential Chaudhry and others involved in the incident.
