The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has banned entry of Geo correspondents, intending to cover proceedings at LHCBA.
The LHCBA said, “they believe in freedom of press, but no compromise would be made on national security.”
The bar association said none of the Geo employees would be allowed at LHCBA, intending to cover any proceedings.
Geo has been under fire since it accused the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in connection to an assassination attempt on prominent journalist Hamid Mir last month.
