Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said PTI remained united as the party discussed the upcoming KP budget at a parliamentary meeting in Peshawar.
Addressing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPAs, Afridi said the meeting’s attendance showed that attempts to create divisions had failed. He said opponents’ “propaganda” had not weakened the party.
The chief minister said the meeting agenda included consultation on the health of the PTI founder and discussion on the provincial budget.
Afridi alleged that the federal government’s “stubbornness” had worsened the PTI founder’s eye condition. He also claimed authorities were not allowing meetings and expressed concern over his health.
He demanded that doctors and hospitals of the family’s choice treat the PTI founder in the presence of his family members.
