Karachi, Sindh, will face hot, humid and partly cloudy weather on Wednesday, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasting a maximum temperature of 37°C to 39°C.
ARY News reported, citing the Pakistan Meteorological Department, that humidity in the city reached 79%, making the weather feel warmer than the recorded temperature.
South-westerly winds were blowing at 18 kilometres per hour, according to the Met Office. Weather data also showed Karachi at 36°C near midday, with the temperature expected to touch 38°C in the afternoon.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department ruled out rain in Karachi for now. The forecast said dry conditions would continue through the day.

Most parts of Pakistan will see mainly hot and dry weather, while plain areas will remain very hot, according to the forecast. Rain, wind and thunderstorms may occur in Kashmir and nearby hilly areas.
Morning temperatures stood at 30°C in Lahore, Punjab, and Karachi, Sindh. Islamabad recorded 21°C, Peshawar 24°C, Quetta 20°C, Murree and Gilgit 15°C, and Muzaffarabad 22°C.
