MASTUNG, Balochistan: Security forces killed at least 13 militants during an ongoing Balochistan operation in Khad Kocha, security sources said.
The sources said troops destroyed several hideouts and injured other militants. Forces also recovered weapons, ammunition and materials used to build improvised explosive devices.
The sources described the targeted network as “Fitna al-Hindustan.” The campaign is Operation Al-Azm. However, its report did not cite a fresh statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirming the updated toll.
On July 22, ISPR separately said security forces had killed 10 militants during operations conducted over the preceding 48 hours in Mastung and Surab districts.
Seven died in Surab and three in Mastung, according to the military statement. Forces also detained two female suicide bombers and their facilitator in Mastung.

ISPR said troops recovered weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices during those operations. It placed the actions within the Azm-e-Istehkam counterterrorism campaign approved under the National Action Plan.
