11 people lost their lives to violence in the past 24 hours in Karachi.
A man, Salman Kazmi, was killed while he resisted a robbery attempt at a barber shop located in Naseerabad. The deceased has worked as a coordinator of Haider Abbas Rizvi, a leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
At least three men including two brothers—Muhammed Arshad, 36 and Irfan, were shot down in Korangi area of Awami Colony.
The other firing incidents occurred in Khuda Ki Basti and Chakiwara where at least three people were killed.
Meantime, two others lost their lives in separate gunfire assaults in FC Area and Pak Colony.
Body of a man was recovered from an open sewer located near Karsaz. The body could not be identified as yet.
