Karachi: In a over night targeted at least 27 suspected people were arrested in separate raids in Karachi areas of Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Essa Nagri area.
At least 22 people were detained from Madina Colony of Essa Nagri in an overnight search operation by personnel of Special Unit.
The local women took to street in the dark of the night against the police, as according to them, police personnel barged into their houses without a prior alert. Police high-ups appeased them and sent them back to their houses.
35 people were apprehended in a targeted operation in Korangi’s Zaman Town.
The total number of arrests have reached to 17.
The captured people include the operatives of proscribed organizations and foreigners.
