IK lambasts PM for holidaying and shopping in London amid border tensions

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan  criticized prime minister Nawaz Sharif on spending holidays in London amid Pakistan India tension.

Khan taunted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for “holidaying and shopping in London amid tensions on Line of Control and the eastern border.”

Mr. Sharif had left for London after attending the United Nations General Assembly session.

Khan is also set to launch a rally ‘Raiwand March’ for what he called against ‘corruption of the ruling elite’ on September 30. The PTI chairman said the rally would be the ‘biggest’ so far.

Mr Khan told media in Islamabad yesterday that the government and critics of the ‘Raiwind March’ would be surprised to see an entire nation supporting his party in protest.

He was confident that many people would attend PTI’s March in Raiwind.

Khan said a peaceful protest was his party’s democratic right particularly after state institutions failed to provide justice on repetitive occasions.

However, Mr Khan also warned that if the government or Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers tried to disrupt the flow of the march, officials would not be able to stand the reaction

Earlier this month, Chairman PTI launched a countrywide Ehtesab (accountability) Movement against the governing PML-N, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, who is also his brother.
